A creative method of knocking down cheats.

Some will always use sneaky methods to cheat in games. It's a shame because it destroys the fun of everyone else.

Fortunately, it seems that gaming studios and developers are taking the issue more seriously now than before. Recently, we could write that Blizzard will implement a new measure to stop the cheaters - battles that become subject to cheating will automatically end. Only the cheater is punished - honest players will not lose SR points when the match ends, Blizzard promises.

Must taste their own medicine
But what about Apex Legends? This game is also plagued by countless cheaters. Now Respawn has announced a new system that will make these players taste their own medicine.

The company reveals that a new anti-cheating tool involves matchmaking between cheaters and spam accounts. Thus, in these battles, cheaters are forced to play against each other.

New AI system
Respawn is also working on a new AI system that can detect and automatically ban cheaters. The same system should also ensure that spam accounts are banned before use.

The company also considers some regions as more at risk for cheating, and in these regions, users have to legitimize themselves using two-factor authentication, writes Respawn in a post on Reddit.

"As we have said before, the fight against cheaters is still ongoing, and this fight has a high priority for us. Will always be work to do, improvements to make, and new things to adapt to, ”the company writes.

What are you thinking about Respawn's anti-junk action?
