Mysterious code found in Apple's new "Find My" app

First proof that the product is coming?

Rumor has it that Apple is working on a new product category: tracking chips. These are pieces you can attach to keys, bags, electronics and so on.

Thanks to Bluetooth technology, the pieces will make it easier to locate the products once you have lost them.

"Tag1,1»
If the information is correct, Apple plans to compete against Tile, which has been the market leader in this segment.

Developer Steve Moser recently found some interesting references in the code for the new Find My app in iOS 13. It is referred to as something called "Tag1.1". It is now speculated that this may be the rumored tracking chip Apple allegedly works on.

Gathered in one place
In fact, if Apple is working on such a product, it makes sense that the first "evidence" is found in the Find Me code.

Find My is Apple's "new" app that gathers all the "find my stuff" features in one place. It would make sense if Apple's tracking chips are also used with this app.

Apple has not yet confirmed that the potential Tiles competitor is on its way, so we have no idea of either price or availability.

Do you think Apple tracking chips might be relevant to you?
