Now you do not have to do this manually

Finally, this can be deleted automatically.

Google is one of the technology giants that gathers huge amounts of data on each of us. The company has previously been criticized for this practice and has even been fined for it.

Fortunately, the company offers you the opportunity to delete some of the data that is being collected. However, this has only been possible to do manually. To remove location data and history, you have to dig yourself in the settings and manually delete.

"We've heard you guys"
Now, this is changing. Google has now begun the rollout of a new feature that lets you turn on the automatic deletion of such information.

"When you turn on settings such as location history or web/app history, such data can help make Google products more useful to you. For example, you may receive recommendations of restaurants that you might like, or you can continue where you left off after the previous search. We're working to keep your data private and secure, and we've heard from your feedback that we need to offer an easier way to organize or delete it, ”writes Google in a blog post.

3 or 18 months
The change means that you can choose Google to automatically delete sensitive information about you. This includes information on where you've been, what websites you've visited, and how to use Google apps. You can choose to delete this from your Google Account after either 3 or 18 months.

The new feature is rolled out these days, so if you haven't got access yet, don't worry, you'll probably see the change in a few days.
