LetsGoDigital has discovered a very next-generation Samsung patent. Samsung's TV patent, which eliminates the need to connect the TV with a power cable, was revealed by the World Intellectual Property Office.

What Samsung has been given is to produce a TV that does not even need a power cable to work.

 

Instead, an oblong box is placed behind the TV with a double coil constructed in opposite directions.

Don't have to be close to each other
The base station then produces an electromagnetic field picked up by this coil - the technique is the same as wireless cellular chargers, but with this technique, the device does not need to be in physical contact. The wireless receiver will also have a pair of speakers mounted on it.

 

Combine such a TV with a wireless AV system, and we are eagerly awaiting when we can do this with the gaming PC (probably not with a 2080 ten card in the first place).
