If you have a Raspberry Pi 3 and lots of time on your hands then you might as well get ready for a full Windows 10 experience. The same people who downloaded Windows 10 through Arm to the Lumia 950 and 950 XL have done the same for Pi.

 

You need this
The project is available at Github and is supposed to be very easy to implement. What you need is either Model B or B + of Raspberry Pi 3, a microSD card (preferably with an A1 rating), and a Windows 10ARM64 image linked to the site where you find the project itself.

 

The tool, according to developer José Manuel Nieto, has been made with simplicity in mind, so you don't have to think about drivers, UEFIs, and other advanced choices that only head for many. The installation tool, therefore, does the most for you.

 

How to install Windows
To install Windows 10 ARM on Raspberry Pi 3, go through the following steps:

 

1. Download the Windows 10 ARM image (included as a .wim file), the WoA installer tool, and the Core packages from here.

2. Run the WoA installation, go to the "Advanced" tab

3. Press the "Import Core Package" option and select the Core package.

4. Ready to run the Windows selection

It's pretty cool to see Windows 10 run on a small device, but of course, you don't have to have all the world's expectations for the experience: it's talk about slow transitions and generally not very fast processes.
