Yesterday, Apple announced that Angela Ahrendt, who for the past five years has had the position of store manager after Apple leaves the company, is being replaced by Deidre O’Brien, who has been with Apple for 30 years.

 

Letter to the employees
Business Insider has obtained a document where Tim Cook tells the employees that Ahrendt will now follow new personal and professional goals.

 

About O’Brien, Cook says that she was part of the team that planned and launched Apple's first stores, online as well as physical:

 

“She has been part of the Retail Department's exciting expansion and any product launch ever since. She understands the value and the human connections created in retail experiences, and that is where Apple shows its heart and soul. "

 

Raises the level in the stores
O’Brien's new position allows her to expand her focus area and show how Apple inspires, ties, and cares about employees, Cook writes in the letter to employees.

 

In the future, the Apple boss is going to raise the level of experience in both physical stores and online stores.
