Not many days ago, Microsoft released updates to version 1607 (Anniversary Update) and 1703 (Creators Update), and now it's Fall Creators Update (1709) that gets an overall update while waiting for the big wet update.

Not many days ago, Microsoft released updates to version 1607 (Anniversary Update) and 1703 (Creators Update), and now it's Fall Creators Update (1709) that gets an overall update while waiting for the big wet update.

Here's how to check which Windows 10 edition you're using:

Open Settings - System - About - Windows Specifications.
Errors and improvements
Total updates contain no news, instead, the focus is on bug fixes and performance improvements. It also shows the changelog that reveals that Microsoft has corrected a bunch of errors in Windows 10 Fall Creators Update.

The update also contains one known error, error 0x80070643, where Windows Update says that the update was not installed even if it actually did. If the update was properly installed, see OS version 16299.402 under Windows specifications.
