The date is set.

At the end of December last year, Nvidia announced that support for 32-bit operating systems would soon be cut. Now the date is set.

Should upgrade
May 1, players who run 32-bit editions of either Windows or Linux will no longer be able to use GeForce Experience and access playable drivers. Another thing is that Nvidia will not offer security updates to these OS editions after January next year.

Thus, you run GeForce cards at your own risk after that date.

This applies to the following operating systems:

  • Microsoft Windows 7.
  • Microsoft Windows 8 / 8.1.
  • Microsoft Windows 10.
  • Linux.
  • FreeBSD.
