But maybe not the way you had hoped.
Neither Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox nor Opera are available through the official app store in Windows 10. Like Apple (iOS), Microsoft also requires developers to use their built-in engine for browsers, for example, Chrome is in iOS based on Apple's Webkit engine.
Only an installer
Now, however, Google has found a nap solution to offer Chrome installation through the Microsoft Store without developing an app based on the Edge engine. In the app store, the search giant has now posted the Google Chrome installer. The app is more or less a website that allows you to download and install Chrome on your PC.
"This installer helps you get the official Google Chrome app: a fast and safe browser from Google", it's in the description. Below, Google adds that Windows 10 S is not compatible with apps like Google Chrome. This is obviously because the browser is not built for the Microsoft Store.
More about the Microsoft Store: Apple needs some more time with iTunes.
Then, what is Google's purpose for this is asked. Chrome is by far the most widely used browser in the world and many users are used to downloading the browser through the company's websites. One reason may be that people searching for Chrome in the Microsoft Store get a relevant result.

What do you think of Google's solution?
