Now they update Windows 7 and 8.1 again

Yesterday was "patch day."

Yesterday Windows 10 was updated - there are also updates for Windows 7 and 8.1.

The monthly updates fix known issues, plug holes and add the latest security features to your system - it's a good idea to run Windows Update.

Windows 7
For Windows 7 and Server 20080 R2 SP1, the update KB4025341 is in Windows Update.

Network administrators also need to change a registry entry to make LDAP authentication via SSL / TLS more secure:

After installing the security updates for CVE-2017-8563, administrators need to set registry key LdapEnforceChannelBinding to enable the fix for the CVE. For more information about setting the registry key, see Microsoft Knowledge Base article 4034879.

Windows 8.1 og Server 2012 R2 får KB4025336, som fikser følgende:
