Armoured patrol is a roblox classic
Roblox Game Review | Sep 17, 2016 | Master3395
Armoured patrol is a roblox classic made by wingman8 in 4/5/2008 it is a team vs team multi terrain vehicle combat game which features trucks, cars, APCs, helicopters and of course, tanks.
Although armoured patrol was made years ago unlike urban patrol, a similar game made by wingman8. Armoured patrol has been updated a large number of times. With helicopters, additional tanks and structures.
What's unique about armoured patrol in comparison to a lot of other combat games on roblox which include vehicles is that with a range of different weapons types included on these vehicles every vehicle will have a weakness that one of the other vehicles will have as a strong point. This means that good use of teamwork is always required for a quick win.
Defences can be built from scratch and also prefab structures, the game allows for progression as a team with 3 capture points with the aim of holding the capture points for the longest each round. Players gain points for destroying the enemies vehicles when they are being used as well as killing them, the points can be used to buy many items in the shop which include a repair tool, flares, a build tool, different ammo types for each weapon, an RPG tool and more.
Although the number of maps in armoured patrol has been limited to only a few maps at the most and the maps haven't had an update in appearance since the game was released in (insert starting date here) maybe wingman8 could add a map or two from urban patrol into armoured patrol to add a greater map variation.
Armoured patrol may be one of roblox' solder games but it is by no means outdated, I'd recommend playing this game as I had a lot of fun playing it. You can play it here
