Now Office looks like this - rolled out to testers

Testing of the new graphical user interface has begun to roll out.

Office Insider
Those who have registered as "Office Insiders" can now test the new user interface before it is officially launched, after the initial unveiling last year, Microsoft has also revealed that the new interface will fit with the design in Windows 11.

The plan is for the new look to be available to all Microsoft 365 users later this year.

Softer design
As with the rest of Windows 11, Microsoft has continued the design that elevates the toolbar with a slightly more rounded design.

There are also small changes in icons and style that are also recognizable from the Windows 11 re-design, you can see these changes through all the office applications. This is a somewhat more subtle change than the one Microsoft first came out with last year.

As it looks now, it is a more subtle approach to a new design in Office.

It is expected to see this roll out to web applications and mobile apps first. Microsoft has said that it will take them about one to two years to complete the rollout.
