Apple iOS Update: What does it do with your phone's performance?

Apple offered a lot of news at the Spring Loaded event last week. They also announced that iOS 14.5 and iOS 14.5 will come next week. See ITavisen's large coverage of the Apple bonanza here.

What has Apple done with speed?
Release Candidate of iOS 14.5 roughly tells what we have to look forward to. But how does iOS 14.5 compare to iOS 14.4.2 if we compare the speed? Has Apple done anything to improve performance in the upcoming update?

The comparison was performed by iAppleBytes. Apple's candidate version is more or less the final version of the operating system. Take a look at the comparison below for more information on the performance of the software.

Small, no crucial differences
As the video tells, the boot speed on iOS 14.5 is more or less the same as iOS 14.4.2 on all iPhone models. The difference can well be said to be insignificant. In addition, the start-up time on the apps is quite similar. The conclusion is that there is little or no difference in performance between the two versions of the operating system. You can check out your iPhone model in the video above - if you haven't already.

The speed test comparison shows two operating systems on a par with each other. However, Apple may fix bugs or come up with something smart at the last minute before officially launching iOS 14.5. This could potentially lead to deviations from the results presented above.
