This is brand new Chrome OS

Google had a slow start with Chrome OS and Chromebooks, but I wonder if it has not improved lately with increasing sales in education.

Google knows they're on the right track with Chrome OS - strengthen the feature base
The company goes straight to the point and reveals new features, which is always good news:

  • Phone Hub – dette er et kontrollsenter som gir deg kontroll over mulighetene på Android-mobilen din, inkludert melder og batterilevetid, samt LTE og hotspot-innstillinger. Du kan også finne igjen mobilen fra en Chromebook. Og, du ser Chrome-faner du sist åpnet på Android-mobilen din der.
  • WiFi-Sync - this feature works now. with multiple devices. Chromebooks can automatically connect to trusted WiFi networks previously used on Android phones, as well as other Chrome OS devices signed in with the same Google Account.

  • Nearby Share - This will be released in the coming months and will allow you to share files between your Chromebook, Chrome OS, and other Android devices. You can share without sharing contact info.
  • Screen Capture Tool - This is available in the quick settings, and has been upgraded so that you can save precise screenshots and screen recordings without remembering keyboard shortcuts. Saved content can be found in Tote, a new site that stores important files for you so that they are easy to access, including downloads, screenshots, and favorite files.

  • Media control - now this is baked right into the Quick Settings menu, whether you play from the web or an Android app. It is possible to attach the media player to the Shelf for instant access.
