Microsoft turns after massive price increase - free games become free

Just hours after Microsoft announced a major price increase, they have chosen to drop it all.

Increased prices, then changed course after a few hours
We were talking about the prices for the Xbox Live Gold program for new customers, where the price for one month increased from 1 to 10.99 dollars, three months from 5 to 29.99 dollars, and six months to 59.99 dollars (the old price for 12 months).

"We messed it up today and it was right of you to say so. Playing and connecting with friends is an important part of gaming - we failed and failed to meet the expectations of players who trust this every day. As a result, we have chosen not to change the price of the Xbox Live Gold ", says Microsoft after the very fast, smart enough, turnaround operation.

Microsoft reports that those who already pay for the service remain at the same price. "New and existing members can continue with the same prices as today."

A very nice change is that soon (in a few months) you will not need a subscription to play free games like Warzone and Fortnite.
