Lots of exciting Apple rumors: this is how the brand new MacBook Air will be

Bloomberg is on a winning streak with a number of exciting Apple revelations.

We consider these revelations to be credible

The newspaper is considered the most reliable, flanked by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

Tonight there are no less than three recent rumors, let's first consider the most exciting: a new MacBook Air. This machine is even thinner and lighter than today's MacBook Air design which has been unchanged for many years. The launch will take place in the second half of 2021, possibly early in 2022. Kuo believes in a launch next year due to new panels, mini LED, for the first time.

Kuo believes the new machines will arrive sometime between July and September 2021

This new machine gets MagSafe (which apparently does not use the USB C standard, but a proprietary Apple connection - Microsoft does the same with its Surface series), which we have already reported returns, and Apple's M2 chips which are second-generation Apple Silicon.

The screen remains at 13 inches, but the frames are supposed to be cut and the machine is equipped with two extra USB 4 ports, up from only two in today's M1 models.

The plan was also to design a larger MacBook Air with a 15 ″, but this certainly does not happen "with the next generation".

Here's how to make a brand new MacBook Pro:

iMac does not get FaceID

At least not the first major upgrade of the all-in-one machines that will probably be updated in the second half of this year at the same time as Air and Pro.

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman believes that FaceID is not equipped in the brand new iMac machines with M2, but that this is reserved for version 2.0 of the redesign.

5G support is also expected, but neither is this in the first version of the new design.

MacBook Pro får utrolig nok SD-kort leser
