Changes the company's strategy for streaming.

Disney has announced a major reorganization.

Disney up six percent after the revelation
The reason is closed parks for many months and new routines for millions of people who previously went to the cinema and in amusement parks that may never come back completely.

The company's new structure has changed with immediate effect. On December 10, Disney will reveal more about the new direct to customer strategy.

Production of new content falls into the categories «Studios,« General Entertainment »and« Sports »
The new strategy is not surprisingly more new content directly to Disney +, a streaming service the company has had great success with and which is now even more important, if not the centerpiece, of Disney's core strategy.

The Studios division of the company manages Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, 20th Century Studios, and Searchlight Pictures.

Sports handles ESPN, and General Entertainment brings together content such as 20th Television, ABC Signature, Touchstone Television productions, as well as Disney channels, Freeform, FX, and National Geographic.
