FT is inclined.

The Financial Times reports, without hesitation, that it is Nvidia and not Apple that will trade ARM.

 

Nvidia is the buyer believes FT without hesitation
Softbank has wanted to sell, it has been known for several months, but who has been closest to an agreement has been far more unclear, until now.

 

Without reservation, FT believes that Nvidia is the buyer and that the price tag is 40 billion dollars - 361.4 billion kroner. Softbank traded ARM for NOK 32 billion in 2016, so they have made some money.

 

What if Microsoft invests all in ARM like Apple?
People with knowledge of the negotiations believe that Nvidia that the purchase will be completed with a combination of cash and shares.

 

Now that Apple is switching from ARM technology to the macOS segment, this acquisition is miserably new for Intel, which has already been overtaken by Nvidia as the most valuable chip maker. The nail in the coffin for Intel in the consumer market will be whether Microsoft also chooses to go "all in" on ARM and Windows.
