Defragments too frequently.
Defragments too frequently.
Yesterday, we wrote about the printer system error in Windows 10 2004, the May update, which results, you guessed it: that many can't use their printer.
The Windows 10 May update is to blame
The cause of the error is in the June updates, it does not, so it cannot be fixed by uninstalling KB updates (the solution is easier).
The thing is that the defragmenter program runs far too frequently, and you may have noticed something else strange, namely that the "optimize disks" program at the same time reports that the task has never run.
You can disable automatic defragmentation in Windows 10
It is completely wrong because it turns out that defragmentation happens every time you restart Windows. Normally one should not clean the disks more than once a week, or perhaps the month if there is less activity.
If you do frequent reboots, it may be okay to disable automatic disk maintenance.
Type defrag from the start menu and disable with the bottom button.
