The HomePod has also been updated, but to version 13.4.5. There is no specific information other than improved quality and stability.

The new version adds support for COVID infection tracking that can be used by official health authorities' apps for contact tracking:

"To help with this, Apple and Google will launch a comprehensive solution that includes application programming interface (API) and operating system-level technology to help enable contact tracking. Given the emergency, the plan is to implement this solution in two steps, while maintaining strong protection of users' privacy. ”

In addition, this version detects whether to wear a mouthpiece so that an iPhone with FaceID brings up the PIN code screen right away.

There aren't many other features to talk about here, but you can now share music from Apple Music directly to Instagram Stories as well as a couple of FaceTime adjustments.
