Although car sales increased.

In April, sales fell 64 percent for Tesla in China compared to March.

From 10,000 sold to less than 4000
Tesla only sold 3635 cars in China in April. The figure is shockingly bad when they sold 10,160 in March.

Tesla cannot blame COVID as car sales in April in the country increased by 9.8 percent. Tesla should, therefore, have done much better in April than in March, but falls sharply.

It will be tough for Tesla in China going forward:
Tesla is moving out of California
Tesla has not wanted to comment on the figure above neither CNBC nor Reuters. The Model 3 price was downgraded in China on April 29.

This at the same time as the company is at war against the politicians in Alameda County in California who refuse to restart production. Tesla has sued.

The war between Musk and local politicians has reached a new low
