During the corona crisis, Microsoft has finally found that it must be easy to start meetings and stay in touch.

Microsoft copies Zoom to compete
One of the obstacles Microsoft created for itself in competing against Zoom was to require a Microsoft account.

But now that the use of Zoom is completely declining, Microsoft has chosen to copy them by removing the account requirement. Instead, a link is shared with others and they do not need to have Skype installed or use an account, including Zoom:
