Retires as a board member.

Retires as a board member.

It's been a long time since Gates ruled Microsoft, and now he's completely on the board as well.

Bill Gates resigned as governor in 2014, now he's out of the board for good
The reason should be his growing international commitment, including medicine, hygiene and vaccines, including the corona virus.

Microsoft's chief executive Sataya Nadella had the following to say that the founder is now finished in the company he co-founded:

"It has been a tremendous honor and privilege to work with and learn from Bill. The Board has benefited from Bill's leadership and vision. And Microsoft will continue to take advantage of Bill's ongoing technical passion and advice to drive our products and services further. «

Gates resigned as chairman of the board in February 2014 and ceased to be involved in the day-to-day operations of the company in 2006.
