Someone in the customer service department is guaranteed to get a call afterward.

Someone in the customer service department is guaranteed to get a call afterward.

Last year, it was announced that the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8 will not get Android 10. Well, it was entirely up to people in the company's customer service department said the exact opposite to customers.

Extinguishes hope
Suddenly, S8 and Note 8 users saw the opportunity to get the latest version of Google's mobile OS.

But now we can announce once and for all that none of these older models will get Android 10. Samsung should have confirmed this to SamMobile during the Unpacked event earlier in February.

Still getting this
However, the three-year-old models will receive security updates for the foreseeable future, although Samsung technically does not have to offer additional updates.
