Sony has operated its own official PlayStation forum for many years. There, players can meet and discuss products and get help solving problems.

But February 27th is over.
Sony has announced this:

"As of February 27, PlayStation.com forums will no longer be available. We invite you to continue the conversations via PlayStation.Blog, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. For product support, visit PlayStation.com/help », writes Sony.

Although the world is always evolving, it came as a surprise to many that Sony chose to remove the forum. None of the options Sony lists, ie social media and the PlayStation blog, can offer the same things the forums could offer.

Nevertheless, it is a fact that the forums have been less used in recent years. So impossible to understand is Sony's choice.

What do you think about the PlayStation forum disappearing?
