The popular document scanner CamScanner had over 100 million downloads on the Play Store when it was removed by Google last week. Google's decision to remove the application was a consequence of security company Kaspersky detecting malware in the app's related codes between June and July.

Out with new version
Found malware was also referred to as Trojan Downloader - malware that downloads even more malware. CamScanner was quick to blame the third-party AdHub that provided SDK to the service. In the same statement, CamScanner aired the idea of taking AdHub to court to resolve the conflict.

The latest development in the case is that they have taken to Twitter to announce their arrival on the Play Store with a new version of the application, where they conduct better control of third-party content.

The Twitter message also states that loyal users should finally be rewarded in some way, without specifying how.
