The function to stop bot activity is easy to see why it needs to be there but at the same time a nuisance. It may not be as big a nuisance as the EU's cookie spam requirement because of the frequency, but clicking on three bikes, buses or crossings quickly becomes very boring.

 

Turnstile believes Cloudflare is the solution. For our part, we are all in favor of this working, because the fact is that the user does not have to do anything.

If we assume that every one of them faces a captcha challenge every ten days, basic maths tells us that everyday humanity wastes 500 years getting the squiggles in order - all to prove that we are humans and not machines.

 

 

Free for all
Cloudflare's technology instead does the work in the background by analyzing the client using JavaScript that "picks up signals about the visitor/browser's environment," explains the company, which reveals that it also examines web APIs and location to increase the likelihood of to weed out bots, and not people.

 

Turnstile also uses machine learning to detect human user behavior and whether that person has previously been granted access.

 

Cloudflare should not have money for the technology that can be implemented now. Cloudflare says privacy is in the driver's seat.
