Updated: Uber's employees did not believe what they saw: Must have become the pig-hack by 18-year-old

The transport company Uber discovered the night today that they had had invaders.

There is more information in the case, including that the hacker is probably an 18-year-old.

 

Probably the hack must have been perceived as so rude (as you see from the seafaring below), that Uber's employees thought it was a joke.

 

The hacker is considering leaking source code that should have been stolen.

 

Above The Verge, Uber does not want to comment further on the matter but refers to the tweet at the end of the article.

 

Should be the talk of a serious incident
So serious is the incident that they had to disable the platform for internal communication, Slack, and the developer systems.

 

The New York Times received parts of the hack from a person who says he or she is behind. In the hacked material there are pictures of e-mail, cloud storage, and code bases. Security researchers should also have received information from the hacker.

 

Should have come deep into the systems
According to a security researcher who has seen the material, the hacker has more or less access to everything.

 

Employees at the company received a message from the hacker that "I declare I am a hacker and that Uber is exposed to an attack." In the message, the hacker listed internal databases with the company. The source code must also have entered the field of view of the hacker who says he was wondering a password from an Uber employee.

 

On Twitter, the company reports that they are investigating the case and have contacted the police.
