An analysis of Netflix's gaming venture is grim reading for the company.

Less than one percent play
Apptopia's figures reveal that the Netflix games have been downloaded a total of 23.3 million times and with an average of 1.7 million daily users - because Netflix has 221 million customers, less than 1 percent use the platform for games entertainment.

 

It is not known how much money the company has spent on the games venture, but they spent 72 million dollars to buy Next Games.

 

Increases the bet despite low interest
Last year, the company stated that they wanted to experiment more. On the eve of the year, they will offer 50 games, up from today's 24.

 

In July, the company announced that it had lost 1 million customers and that the advertising subscription has been postponed until next year after they had originally planned to launch the more affordable model late this year.
