Project Volterra is Microsoft's Windows 11 on an ARM development box.

Neither price nor launch is known
It was under Build 2022 that the company revealed the new box to make the developers familiar with Windows 11 on the arm.

 

In essence, it is talk of testing Qualcomm's new "Neural Processing" development package.

 

 

  • In place of software can be found:

  • Visual Studio 2022 & Vscode

  • Visual C ++

  • Modern .net 6 and java

  • Classic .net Framework

  • Windows terminal

  • WSL and WSA to run Linux and Android Apps


Microsoft is not quite clear yet
Of hardware we find ... Who knows? The company has wanted to talk about its price nor launch but promises to share more later.

 

Windows Central says the Surface team developed the machine in collaboration with Qualcomm, which is easy to see in the design. There should be a top chip inside.
