Only a MacBook Pro gets Apple's new high-performance feature

It has long been confirmed, in Apple's code, that a high-performance mode is on its way to macOS 12, which launches on October 25, the day before the first customers receive the MacBook Pro.

Only the MacBook Pro 16 with the M1 Max gets this
Now we know even more about it, and that is the fact that only the new MacBook Pro 16 model with M1 Max chip (from 36,990 kroner) can activate "High Power Mode".

Your Mac will optimize performance to better support resource-intensive tasks. This can result in more fan noise.

Often the fans will not start at all
Speaking of fan noise, Apple explains that for the most part will hear the fans at all. This is because the cooling system is able to move 50 percent more air with lower fan revolutions.

For most people, the fans will never be activated at all, at least not for everyday tasks.
