This is Apple's super charger for 1199 kroner

Apple's new "140-watt USB-C charger" comes with the most expensive MacBook Pro 16 computers (14 comes with either 67W or 96W, and the latter can be chosen as an upgrade if you choose the most affordable model) which is sent the very first / fastest customers early next week.

This charges your MacBook Pro 16 50 percent in 30 minutes

The company now confirms to The Verge that the charging chip follows the "USB-C PD 3.1" charging standard (max. 240 w), which should mean fast charging with 140 w on a number of devices.

This is the same cable that can charge your MacBook Pro 16 to 50 percent in just half an hour:

To take advantage of fast charging, Apple recommends connecting it to a 16-inch MacBook Pro (2021) using a USB-C-to-MagSafe 3 cable or a USB-C charging cable. Then you can charge the battery from 0 to 50 percent in around 30 minutes ”.

This is Apple's first GaN charger

Note that when using the Thunderbolt 4, it does not help to use this charger as generation four came before the USB-C PD 3.1 standard that maxes out at 100 w.

Also note that even though the new machines are energy efficient, they will lose power during intensive use if the charger is not powerful enough.

This is also a GaN charger, which means it is smaller, quite simply. It is difficult to see how big it is as all the product pictures show it without anything to compare against.
