Microsoft will soon offer full support for both Gmail, Google Drive and Google Calendar in Outlook.com.
Some users have already gained access to this new support, including Twitter user Florian B.
Appears side by side
He can report that setting up this is a quick process. All you have to do is link a Google Account to an Outlook.com account.
When done, emails, documents, and the calendar will appear on Outlook.com in the browser. Both the Google Account and the Outlook Account appear side by side, allowing the user to quickly switch between them.
Still under development
People who have been granted access already say that it is currently possible to add only one Google Account. There is also a problem that causes the entire web page to reload when the user switches between Outlook and their Gmail account.
Thanks to Google Drive integration, you can access both documents and files through Outlook.com. You can then choose to attach the files to emails you write, whether with your Outlook account or your Google Account.
When the feature becomes available to everyone is not yet clear.
