New pro screen also on its way.

In an interview with TechCrunch, Apple confirms that new Mac Pro will be launched next year.

2019 is the launch year
The iMac Pro is launched and is the most powerful Mac for pros, but next year comes a brand new Mac Pro, and then there will be a new performance shopper at the top.

"We want to be transparent and communicate openly with our professional environment. Therefore, we want to know that Mac Pro is a 2019 product. There is nothing to come this year, "explains Apple's Tom Boger, Senior Director of Mac Hardware Product Marketing.

Boger and a number of other Mac executives talked to TechCrunch about how much easier it is to upgrade the new model and show them the development of their new pro-apps.

Yes, there is a new external display from Apple
Apple has received a lot of criticism for leaving Mac's Mac for iOS - with PR stunt like this, and with a modular pro machine, Apple hopes to win back the hearts of users who need the most computing power.

"We also want them to know we are working on a screen for a modular system," explains Apple's Phil Schiller.

The company boasts that they already collaborate closely with creative professionals to develop a machine they make the most of.
