Google wants to make its OS more touch-friendly. Now they are testing a new interface in the Canary test versions.

See what they are improving now
You can already test if you wish. After installing Chrome OS Canary, you can enable the interface below with the chrome flag: // flags / # enable fullscreen app list

The new interface reminiscent of Android in the way it handles the app overview and search. The interface is located on top of the traditional interface, so using the machine with trackpad and keyboard does not change, only if you are touching.

Then take a restart and press the search icon and you will experience the following:
