DICE and Electronic Arts released this spring the "The Shall Not Pass" extension to Battlefield 1. Now the first details of the next major expansion have hit the world wide web.

New expansion during the summer
«In the Name of the Tsar» is the name of the expansion pack number two for the shooter. This time the action will center around the Russian army.

As in the other packages, players can expect new maps, weapons and vehicles. Full unveiling will take place during EA Play, which will take place on June 10th. The launch is likely in August or September.

Soon more content
Before that time, the May update is scheduled for a short period of time. Among the news, DICE promises that fans of the "Operations" mode will be happy.

"Expect new playlists for mode and easier access to get out quickly on the battlefield", writes DICE.

In addition, players can soon expect a new map. «Prise de Tahure» is set for the fall of the Nivelloffensiven where French troops try to stand up at the heights of the Butte-de-Tahure region.

The "Nivelle Nights" map is already announced and will be available in June for the Premium Players.
