End of game stoppage in China - over 80 new games approved

In March, it was known that China had "frozen" all launches of new games in the country. The background was the country's concerns about internet addiction, inappropriate content, and myopia (yes, indeed).

Before re-launching games, they had to go through a painstaking approval process, and finally, they have come to the end.

No Tencent games
Now, over 80 new games can be launched in the country, but all games from the company Tencent are left out, according to Reuters.

The reason is unclear. Perhaps it is about China needing more time to approve Tencent games, or that the games do not meet the country's requirements.

In any case, the ban has had major consequences for the leading gaming company in the country. For the first time in a decade, Tencent has reported falling sales.
